5 Star Teaching Quality
ECU achieved a 5 star rating for teaching quality in the 2015 Good Universities Guide.
The Good Universities Guide provides the only independent five-star performance ratings of Australian undergraduate courses and their providers. The ratings form part of the annual Australian Graduate Survey, specifically focusing on the Course Experience Questionnaire component.
The ratings compare graduates’ educational experiences while studying and their outcomes shortly after graduation.
★★★★★ means graduates rated the teaching quality of their courses higher than graduates in similar fields from 80 per cent of other Australian institutions.
Significantly, we are the only public university in Western Australia to have achieved 5 stars for teaching quality for six years in a row – from 2009 to 2014.

Generic skills includes a range of traits that increase a graduate’s chances of employment, such as the ability to manage their time, being culturally aware, being a team player and being flexible and adaptable in their work.
★★★★★ means graduates rated the generic skills they acquired in their courses higher than graduates in similar fields from 80 per cent of other Australian institutions.
Significantly, we are the only public university in Western Australia to have achieved 5 stars for graduate generic skills for six years in a row – from 2009 to 2014.

学校历史
埃迪斯科文大学1902年始创于西澳首府珀斯，校名以澳大利亚联邦议会中第一位女议员 – Edith Dircksey Cowan而命之；1991年奉准升格为综合大学。2004年，ECU排名澳大利亚第28，现为西澳规模第二大的“教学型大学”；2009年，ECU商法学院所辖珀斯商学研究所在商学院排名全国第10。现为东南亚高等学务研究联盟的成员大学。 ECU学生人数今排名西澳第3大，学生总数约23,740名，研究生人数有5,305；包括4,700名来自超过90个不同国家的国际学生，培育了约30%的西澳大学生。ECU年年与海外国家的大学合办各种学生及职员交换计划、共同研究活动、校际及个人的学术交流；2006年，与IBM协议合作资讯教育、使用IBM电脑设备，迄今为西澳校区最多的大学，同时乃唯一在西澳颁授学子飞行（en:Aviation）学位，以备毕业生进入航空界的高等学府。学校特色

ECU的4所校区，分别是Churchlands, Joondalup, Mount Lawley及Bunbury校区。每所校区均有单独的校舍，校区附近也能较方便地找到出租的房屋。校内单人房间的租金约为85澳元/周；校外住宿，不带家具的独立一房租金约85澳元/周，带家具的每周租金约100-140澳元；家庭寄宿的费用约为170澳元/周（含食宿）。
